Summary: Bill helped my mil settle a debt for about 8% of the amount owed, and we highly recommend his legal services.Long version: Bill assisted us with a tricky legal matter with my mother-in-law. Basically, we didn’t know what was going on. She had been served but another family member had lost the paperwork. We didn’t know who owned the debt or what court to call in Philadelphia for information on the upcoming legal proceedings. And she didn’t have money to pay the debt and would not have been able to attend a hearing because she can’t leave her house due to medical issues. What an embarrassing mess. Bill found the paperwork within minutes, talked to my mil and got her to cooperate, knew the debt manager and contacted him immediately, and settled the debt in about 24 hours. I’m sure these results are not typical, and the debt holder may have wanted payment before the end of the year. However, I wanted to point out that we had discussed a settlement of 30 to 50% (give her specifics) and Bill said he would try to get the lowest payment possible. Well, he did. 8% may be the lowest percentage payoff in the history of payoffs. Don’t let the nice guy act fool you. He’s kind and patient with his clients, but when it comes to representation, he will do everything in his power to ensure they’re treated fairly. We couldn’t be more pleased.
